Shudder is about to remind us that April means we will be halfway to Halloween. To celebrate, the platform is set to deliver one of its biggest months to date.
April’s biggest title is the long-awaited return of Creepshow. The first season of the horror anthology series was the platform’s most successful series to date when it premiered in 2019, and there’s much anticipation for this next batch of bone chilling spooky tales.
As a fan of all ‘80s horror, I am excited for the second part of the documentary In Search of Darkness, which takes a deep dive into ’80s horror.
In terms of older movies, gore fans will definitely want to watch Tobe Hooper’s outrageously over-the-top Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, while those in search of something a bit more subtle should seek out the chilling 1987 film The Stepfather.
Everyone’s favorite horror host, Joe Bob Briggs, returns with another season of The Last Drive-In.
